    The City String Trio were absolutely fantastic! They played really beautifully and really lifted the mood of the whole day. We asked them to prepare several pretty unusual pieces for the ceremony which they did really well (lots of people commented on how well it had worked) and it made our day really special to have our favourite songs in the ceremony. The signing of the register took a bit longer than anticipated and they improvised well with an additional piece that fitted in well. One of the reasons we chose them was because we really liked their repertoire. We gave them a list of our favourites in advance and they clearly took this into account in their choice of songs for the reception. Absolutely worth the money. We asked for music outside their repertoire which they had to arrange from scratch and they did this at very good value. They are clearly very talented!!

    City String Trio were absolutely fantastic. They were the perfect accompaniment to our drinks reception, playing a range of songs from classical, jazz to popular. A score from Games of Thrones proved to be a big hit! They were very punctual and set themselves up very quietly and with no fuss. Absolute professionals. They even took a late request to play happy birthday for a guest at the reception, a gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. I will definitely be using City String Trio again and shall be recommending them to any friends or colleagues who are looking for a string trio. Very punctual, very well organised and were in the venue before the first guests arrived. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance, as did our guests. Fantastic value for money, couldn’t fault them in any way! We would definitely re book them. Thank you City String Trio, you really helped to make our celebration evening special.

    A very friendly, polite, well presented and professional trio. They arrived, sorted themselves out and started playing with no fuss - sign of very experienced and professional artists. All guests thought they were excellent and just right for the occasion. My mother was thrilled to bits with their performance especially when they played the Hippo Song that I'd asked to be specially arranged. Also, several people mentioned they thought it was fabulous when the trio played Food Glorious Food when the buffet was ready!! I would most definitely recommend them. Their playing was excellent, as was their choice of music. They were professional, well-organised and extremely good value for money.
