A touch of magic - highly recommended!
City String Trio did a wonderful job for our wedding and the guests absolutely loved them. The were very accommodating on letting us choose music outside of their usual repertoire as I wanted them to play the The Killers (Mr Brightside) as I walked down the aisle. We got married in the Aslyum in Peckham which is an amazing venue and the City String Trio really added an extra touch of magic to the whole ceremony. They are very professional and very easy to work with throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend City String Trio to any couple who wants that “something special” on their wedding day. -
Very highly recommended - extremely professional
City String Trio are very highly recommended and I want to replay the whole wedding day so I can listen to them play again! They were amazing and even learned a song we wanted for signing the register. We had lots of compliments from our guests, who loved listening to them. Leading up to the wedding they were always very professional and came back to me very quickly when I had any questions. -
Outstanding professional trio - the most beautiful music.
City String Trio were outstanding - we could not have made a better choice! They got in touch before the wedding to assure us of our booking and to ensure they knew all of our preferences. We could not fault their professionalism. They were set up and ready well before the ceremony, the music was beautiful and as our guests moved around the venue for drinks, dinner etc, they followed discreetly and carried on. We had so many good comments from our guests, and the song choices were just brilliant, from the theme tune to Game of Thrones to songs in the charts. If ever I have an excuse to have City String Trio at any other event I will! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. -
Amazing and really added something special to the day
City String Trio were amazing and really added something special to the day. They arrived at the venue in plenty of time and were set up by the agreed time. All our guests commented on how great they were. Sarah was very easy to communicate with in the run up to the wedding. She always replied quickly and was more than happy to answer all of my questions and give us some guidance on songs for our ceremony. -
Incredible Music - perfect!
We cannot thank City String Trio enough for the incredible music played on the day- it was perfect. City String Trio were great to work with from the very start- they were more than happy to answer all of my questions and suggest songs for the ceremony, which was very reassuring for a nervous bride! On the day they were great- arrived in plenty of time, were very professional and knew the perfect song to play for each moment. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the music played by City String Trio was, and how much it added to the ceremony and the drinks reception. -

The City String Trio arrived an hour before the start of the ceremony and had everything set up and ready well in time. They were very well organized, and did not require any assistance from us. I always wanted to have string music for our wedding and you were just perfect - thank you so much! We have had so many compliments - your playing was one of the highlighting factors. I wish I could have sat and listened to you for the entire time. I know the children and parents alike really enjoyed songs like " You've got a friend in me". Thank you again. -
Great mix of music
They were professional, courteous and made the whole thing completely stress free and dealt with everything themselves which was fantastic given it was a wedding so we had a lot to organise ourselves and they needed no attending to from either of us on the day. -
I would certainly recommend and re-book City String Trio
Lots of compliments from our wedding guests about how much people enjoyed the music. City String Trio learned a tune from the film Love Actually at our request specifically to play during our marriage ceremony. This exceeded my expectations and made my bride very happy. -
Thank you City String Trio!
City String Trio performed for our wedding in August 2016. Due to the craziness of the day I didn't get to speak to them but all communciation up to that day was fantastic. They played excellently and helped create a great atmosphere. The service started late and they were very helpful in providing interim music and if there were any other gaps in the service. We had very positive feedback from the guests. They even kindly performed a song for us that was outside of their repertoire which was lovely! Would definitely recommend.
