Incredibly talented and very versatile
We had City String Trio play for our wedding in March 2023 and they were absolutely amazing. Their set list is extensive and they chose pieces which really worked well with the atmosphere at our wedding breakfast. They are incredibly talented and a lot of guests commented on the fantastic set list and how well they played. Would highly recommend! -
Wonderful accompaniment to our reception
We booked City String Trio to play while our guests were arriving at our wedding and then during the drinks reception. They were really great - wide selection of music, friendly and helpful to deal with in the run-up, and most importantly created a lovely atmosphere for the first couple of hours of our wedding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. -
Great string Trio
The City String Trio were great, we had them for about 3 hours across two venues and they played great music. They also had to deal with a late arrival from the wedding party and cancelled transport to the next venue but it didn’t phase them and they were happy to be as helpful as possible. They were also very accommodating organising a bespoke arrangement for the walk-in song a week out from the wedding which was very important. -

Booking the City Trio was one of the best decisions we made. The atmosphere in the venue was perfect and so many guests commented on the music and it brought several to tears, especially when they played while my daughter came down the aisle. All the musicians were so lovely - thank you, it made a very special day even more perfect xx -
A perfect accompaniment for a wedding
City String Trio were the perfect choice for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. They played beautifully and added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our wedding. They were incredibly professional and a pleasure to deal with. They are superb musicians! -
The strings to book
City String Trio were absolutely brilliant on our wedding day. Communication with Sarah was great, they learned our ceremony exit song and it was beautiful. All our guests commented on how brilliant they were for the ceremony and drinks reception, so glad we booked them. They also played a couple of songs again for certain people i.e. groom's father whom was overcome with emotion. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to book them again for another event -

Excellent
City strings were easy to communicate with, flexible and played well on the day. We had to move inside last minute due to rain which delayed the ceremony and lengthened the drinks reception but they were fully flexible and played for guests while they were waiting moving back outside once the rain stopped. All in all they added a unique touch to our ceremony and day. -
A wonderful addition to our wedding day
City String Trio played during the ceremony at our church wedding and also played in the garden during our reception. They played beautifully, including specific requests for our entry and exit songs into the church as well as a few favourites for the garden. We had very complimentary comments from our guests and would definitely recommend them! Thank you again!
